Road Development
Communication is an important and essential facility in the tribal areas for speedy development of the tribal people. Due to lack of proper road communications, the tribal people cannot avail of essential services such as, Health Centres, etc. Road communication provides :-

Access to educational facilities beyond primary level, to health
delivery points and to sources of employment;
-
inward movement of essential commodities and outward movement of local
produce;
-
Wage employment; and
-
Direct contact with Government, for quicker redressal of grievances and
increase in awareness.
An outlay of Rs.50046.08 lakh has been provided for this sector for the year 2014-15. Which includes, which has been allocated for District Road, Approach Roads and Link etc.
In the year 2014-2015 under Sub-sector Road Development following Outlay has been provided in Tribal Sub Plan.
